got its start in summer 1998 as a custom digital photography service--COTTAGE INDUSTRIES™--in Bay View, Michigan.  COTTAGE INDUSTRIES™ products have grown to include fine art prints, note cards, postcards, and custom tee-shirts of the spectacular natural and architectural beauty of the Petoskey and Mackinac Straits area.

Our digital archives now encompass large numbers of 19th century Victorian summer cottages and Michigan lakeshore scenes.  In summer 1999, COTTAGE INDUSTRIES™ was chosen to do the photography for the historic Bay View Millennium 2000 calendar.  Subsequently, the services have been expanded to include theatrical documentation for the Bay View Music Festival.

Meanwhile...
at our home base on Long Island, we began producing a parallel line of products and services in fall 1999 under the trademark North Fork NATURALS™.  In just those few months, the business has expanded to include such clients as a winery, a 200-year-old Christmas Tree farm, a specialty Oriental flower and vegetable grower, gift shops, galleries, local artists selling reproductions of their paintings, and a regional environmental group.

More recently...

North Fork NATURALS has expanded into videography specializing in weddings, family and community events, insurance documentation, and commercial videos.  North Fork NATURALS footage of Bedell Cellars, a major Long Island winery, has appeared on VH1 Classic and FOX-NY television.
