Northfork Natural's Shipping, In-Store Pickup, & Local Delivery Policies and Infromation

OUR SHIPPING POLICIES

Many of our individual products are already set up to be automatically sent USPO Priority Mail . If, however, a product is a part of a larger order then we will compute the most effective and efficient shipment method for the entire order and the total cost will be charged at checkout. Individual products that aren't set up for Priority Mail will be shipped via USPO, USP, or FedEx at standard rates per package type and weIght and the total will be charged at checkout. Please see the Hazardous Materials notes below.

NOTE: The shipping charges shown in your shopping cart on our website are only an estimate. The actual cost may be lower or higher depending on the size of the order. Large items/orders may be subject to oversize fees. The final computed shipping charges will be reflected in your confirmation order. Generally speaking these will be the same or very close to the estimated charges

Generally, shipping takes 3-10 business days after the customer order is confirmed except in cases of back orders or some major equipment orders. Tracking number available upon request.

Large, heavy, or bulky items may be shipped via a commercial freight company as determined by the manufacturer or distributor, but this will be factored in on an individual item basis and Northfork Naturals will contact the customer in this regard prior to sale confirmation giving the customer the option to choose to stop or approve the order.

We do not currently ship to locations outside the contiguous 48 US states.

    • On or near Highway 12 between Lewiston, Idaho, and Orofino, Idaho

STOP & CANCEL ORDERS

Once customer has placed an order and completed check out, an order confirmation will be sent immediately. If customer then decides to stop or cancel an order it will be necessary to CALL US IMMEDIATELY after order is placed. (208- 836- 5690). We may not be able to stop the order once it goes to our warehouse. In all such cases there will be a $10.00 stop order charge.

LOST OR DAMAGED GOODS:

Shipping damages: Items that are damaged in shipment MUST be noted with the delivery carrier before you sign the delivery paperwork certifying acceptance. Then contact us for information about how the claim is to be handled.. Please see additional information below. \

What you, our customer, may not know about goods damaged in shipping:

  • Our responsibility for a shipment ends when the carrier signs the Bill of Lading. If the goods are lost or damaged in transit, the delivering transportation company is required by law to make notation of losses or damage on your freight bill. If you sign the delivery paperwork without a notation about lost or damaged items, you are certifying that the shipment was received in good condition.
  • If in your opinion there may be concealed damage, the delivering transportation company is obligated to make an inspection after the goods are unpacked. The cartons in question should be opened as soon as possible, and they should be saved.
  • Transportation rates are set in proportion to liability for loss or damage. The carrier, and not the shipper, should be charged with any loss or damage, so the claim should be filed with the delivering transportation company. Sometimes lost items are found and delivered free.

RETURN SHIPPING


All shipping charges incurred for returning merchandise is the sole responsibility of the customer, unless it is the error of Northfork Naturals. Please also see our Returns Policy.

HAZARDOUS MATERIALS

Due to restrictions by the Federal Aviation Association (FAA), we are not able to certain materials classified as hazardous by the FAF through USPS Priority Mail. . We will ship these products by either FedEX or UPS, and your order confirmation will reflect the total shipping costs accordingly. These products will be identified by a special note in the product description and in general might include products containing alcohol for example.

Prior to charging your credit card the shipping method will be changed from UPPS to UPS or FedEx on these orders. Please see shipping notes above. If you have selected shipment to a P.O. Box, any hazardous materials as described above will be removed from your order.

Orders for products that contain oil, alcohol will normally be packed in natural or other packaging materials to ensure if a package were to be damaged in transit the liquid would be absorbed.
