12 PC GRANITE WARE WATER BATH CANNER & PROCESSING KIT - INCLUDING A BLANCHING POT!

This all-in-one canning and processing kit includes everything you need to can foods or process them for freezing in one handy all in one kit and is an ideal lower cost option for a beginner or to replace old worn out water bath equipment. These steel enamel ware pots, called Granite Ware, have been used successfully for many generations for home canning year after year. The canner pot has a 21 quart capacity and will hold 7 quart jars. The kit includes a Granite Ware Blanching Pot with lid and a drain basket to blanch and drain produce for easy peeling or freezing. We've also used our granite ware canner pot to simmer home-made salsa for batch processing or a huge pot of delicious chilii for a crowd. My mother used this same pot not just for canning but for heating water for her old fashioned washing machine!

You can use these pots on just about any stove top, wood, gas, electric, but they aren't flat on the bottom and are best not used on glass top stoves.
